“Learning God’s Word Is Fun”
As Sunday School Superintendent, I welcome you to our Sunday School page. We have a strong emphasis on Bible-based teachings in Sunday School. We have a talented staff of children’s and adult teachers who are dedicated to providing you and your children a quality learning experience.
One of my objectives is to encourage our members to enjoy studying God’s Word. Our church carefully and prayerfully locates classroom materials which are fun for all ages. The Pastor and the Board of Stewards oversee my department and assist me in providing a quality Christian education program.
We have entered the 21st century with the goal of making as many disciples of Christ as possible (Matthew 28:19). This is why we offer Bible 101 (an introduction to the Bible) and Discipleship training (a 36-week course). For those students who desire a deeper walk with Christ, we offer Advanced Discipleship training. Our Discipleship training classes are based on a Wesleyan Arminian understanding of theology and Scripture.
Holland Road Church is a conservative church. We believe that the Bible offers solutions to today’s problems. We are committed to seeing individuals grow spiritually. Our goal is to see every believer at Holland Road Church become strong and mature in Jesus Christ.
This summer our church is committed to having another Vacation Bible School designed for your children ages 5 to 10. Please see our Youth page and Children’s page for more information on the various ministries of the church.
We have a fun time learning and sharing during the Bible Fellowship Hour Sunday mornings at 9:45a.m. After the children participate in our worship and praise time, we have a children’s church program during the celebration service .

Winnie Oliver holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is also serving in various other capacities at Holland Road Church, in addition to the role of pastor’s wife.
