Winnie is a computer programmer analyst working in the airline industry. Winnie is very supportive of her husband’s role as pastor   of Holland Rd Church.  Together they have ministered the love of Christ to people  of many cultures. They love the Lord and they love people.

At Holland Road Church, Pastor and Winnie Oliver appreciate the opportunity to get to know the people of the congregation. This is one of the strong points that Holland Road has to offer. Tguitarpastormd03he pastor and his wife are both accessible and easy to get along with.

The pastor enjoys singing and playing guitar for the Lord during worship services. You could say that one of his hobbies is to play his guitar.

Rev. Oliver’s speaking style is dynamic and easy to understand. He is an evangelist, teacher and preacher of God’s Word.

Pastor Oliver is a graduate of Mayfield High School in Mayfield, New York. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Canton New York. He also holds a Bachelors degree from California State University in Philosphy and Religion from Dominguez Hills in Carson, California. He has taken Bible classes from Biola University near Los Angeles. Pastor Oliver attended one semester at Perkins School of Theology at SMU in Dallas. He halted his education at this point because of the liberal teachings he experienced.

In the mid 1980’s, Rev. Oliver received minister credentials and served for 10 years as a traveling evangelist preaching the Word and singing Gospel sing-a-longs. In the mid 90’s, he was led by God to change denominations.

Rev. Oliver successfully completed the work requirements for the Course of Study in the Evangelical Methodist Church.

In 1995, Rev. Oliver accepted a position as co-pastor of Grace EMC Church in Haltom City, Texas along with Rev. Jack Conner, the Mid-States Conference Superintendent.

In April of 1996, Rev. Oliver received his Local Preacher’s License with the Evangelical Methodist Church. At this same time, he was called to pioneer a new EMC church in Arlington, Texas. DFW Community. This church has now moved to Mansfield Texas and is called Holland Road Church. See our church history page.

On April 23, 1999, Rev. Oliver was ordained an Elder in the Evangelical Methodist Church.  He has been a minister in good standing with the EMC for over 8 years.

Rev. Oliver would be honored to be given the opportunity to be your pastor. He has been a soul winner everywhere he goes. Is there someone you know who should speak with the pastor?
