HRC Privacy Policy

Dear Parent,

Please take a moment to read about an exciting program our church is offering to your family at No Charge. A volunteer (non-paid amateur photographer) will be glad to take a photo of each of your children for the sole purpose of making the photo a FREE GIFT to you. The following is a set of Guidelines on how we intend to protect your privacy and make the photo(s) available to you.

Day of Picture Taking We will provide you a Dear Parent letter explaining our program. You will be given a short information form to complete. This form will help us to contact you as soon as your photo is available. We will send you a letter thanking you for participating with our program. You will also receive instructions on where you will find your child's photo on the internet. We will provide you a CODE to login with. A short form will be made available to you with an opportunity for you to do a caption. In this caption you can either leave it blank or give a short description of the fun photo event. If you leave this blank we will also. You will have the choice to share this CODE with anyone you wish. Try including your family members far away or living in town. You choose who you give this code to or choose not to at all.

Privacy Policy HRC does not collect personally identifiable information about your children unless you voluntarily and knowingly provide it. HRC does not provide individually identifiable information to third parties. When you share personal information with HRC, it stays with HRC. Information that you provide to HRC is used to allow you to share the photos with others. The only time you will receive an e-mail from HRC is to follow up on this program. You will be given the opportunity to submit your email address if you would like more information about our church. You may wish to have HRC follow up on an inquiry or even sign up for our Daily Devotional. HRC will never knowingly collect or maintain information about children unless the parent(s) have voluntarily provided it. This document is current based on the day of the event and our policies may change as needed. Be sure to visit our website for any changes in our Photo Policy. If we need to change the terms of privacy in the future we will post these changes online at our website login location.

Photo Privacy All HRC photos reside on our web server. Your photo will be accessible on the website for a sixty (60) day period from when it was taken. After sixty (60) days, we will download your photo and it will not be available by surfing the Internet. Your photo will remain in our archives off the Internet. REMEMBER THAT YOUR PHOTO IS CAPABLE OF BEING ACCESSED BY ONLY YOU AND ANY OTHER INDIVIDUALS WITH WHOM THE PHOTO ID CODE IS SHARED DURING THE (60) PERIOD. HRC strives to exercise the highest standards of care to protect your privacy and the privacy of your photo. HRC does not warrant that you are protected from the careless, irresponsible, or intentional actions of third parties or the people who have received your code to view the photo with. At any time and for any reason, you can submit a removal request by email or by HRC online form. Please submit a removal request to HRC at info@hollandemc.org and please include the location your photo was taken, the dates of the event, and your photo ID Code.

Request a copy of your photo. If you would like to request a copy of your photo be emailed to you after it is no longer available on the web site, please submit an e-mail to HRC info@hollandemc.org and state the name of the event that you attended, the dates of the event, your name and your child's name and the photo ID Code.
